Requirements Management as a Service - Anforderungsmanagement und Business Analysis.

In Anlehnung an Best Practice verstehen wir unter Business Analyse:

"In short, business analysis is the set of activities performed to identify business needs and recommend relevant." Business analysis is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to:

  • Determine problems and identify business needs;
  • Identify and recommend viable solutions for meeting those needs;
  • Elicit, document, and manage stakeholder requirements in order to meet business and project objectives;
  • Facilitate the successful implementation of the product, service, or end result of the program or project.
Business analysis includes two additional components to requirements development and requirements management. Those components include needs assessment, which begins pre-project/program, and solution valuation, which occurs before and after solution implementation."

"The term requirement is defined as “a condition or capability that is required to be present in a product, service, or result to satisfy a contract or other formally imposed specification.” A requirement represents something that can be met by a product or service, and can address a need of the business, person, or group of people. A requirement should be independent of the design of the solution that addresses it. A requirement may explain a feature that is to be met by a product or software component. When a specific type of requirement is under discussion, the term requirement is preceded by a qualifier such as stakeholder, business, or solution."

Die Fachdisziplin Requirements Management orientiert sich an den aktuellen Best Practice Modellen der vier "Communities of Practice for Requirements Management":

  1. Software Engineering Body of Knowledge
  2. Systems Engineering - Systems Engineering Handbook: A Guide for System Life Cycle Processes and Activities,
  3. Value Management/Value Engineering
  4. IIAB - International Institute of Business Analysis und Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering,

  • ISO 15505-5 SPICE
  • CMMI
  • ITILv3-2011
